Anyone know of anywhere that sells fresh mackerel in the Sunderland area?

I did have a load frozen down, but due to my marriage break up, my soon to be ex decided she didn't need it in her freezer:casstet:

I saw some in Tesco on saturday but it wasn't what I'd call fresh, I wouldn't of fed it to ling nevermind humans. You might be better off ordering some of the blast frozen stuff mail order.

Problem is supermarket mackerel has been gutted...best with blast frozen ammo in my opinion...the flesh retains a lot more juice and blood when frozen down with the giblets.

the mackerel stated in my above post are un gutted m8, good size stamp of mackerel too not like the stuff you say at super markets
