might head onto pier on sat b4 the once a year crew turn up in numbers

yeah theres a few there, hundreds of sandeels so the might be why. perfect conditions i got one and a few around me caught some, 2 of which were beasts.

Been fishing blyth pier every morning this week and not seen a macky yet, loads of coalies, sprat, shad, sand eels and the dreaded lesser weevers shouldn't be long with this weather though.

:D:DThe mackie are here, quite a few caught last nite, not big in numbers, but 2 guys had a bagfull after about 3hrs, I didn't get 1, but had loads of small coalies and a 2 launce, better than nowt;)

Just been looking at the weather for the next few days, looks like they'll be gone for a while..........

Gary :)

Had reports of a neighbour that they've been getting quite a few last few days and all quit a decent size.... Of course, typically, I've knackered my lower back - was sweating like a pig from the pain just walking the 2mins to the Doctors :(
