fished a pleasure match on wednesday and my son tried spinning as the fishing was slow,and started pulling in mackrell,thought they might of taken off by now.

Yeah, a few were taken on bait on Blyth Beach again last night in my club match. I had one from the fish quay last saturday fishing out in the middle - actually was lucky to get it at all as I had a flounder over a pound on my bottom hook & a 40cm coalie on the top hook; the mackerel was just biting onto the line just above the coalie's mouth must have been fighting for the crab bait!! So three fish on a two hook rig lol!
