I don't know where you live mate but i have a two burner camping stove that connects to the blue or red gas bottles.
It is the type with fold up legs so easy to store.
You are welcome to it as i was given it for free,i live in Blyth

propane bottle and a stove connected to it, as i have a useless electric cooker like mik ,but the propane in the washouse on stove has been gannin for about ten year and hasnyt ran out yet[bet it does now av said this lol] i make hundreds every year costs me nowt at all ,lead off builder mates, gas off me pal who works with it and me wires are off a large mig welder spool ,ive also had this years and years honestly ,my sinkers never last that long as i fish snaggy raggy marks all the time ,stainless wire would be pointless and waste o dosh ,;)

Well am new to all this but just been giving a petrol stove so am going to give it a go myself. Been fishing for just over a month now and enjoying it its very additive had some catches two havnt draw many blanks so far so it must be the beginers luck......Still waiting for the big cod looking good tho with the north wind here .

Is there such a thing as a bulk alternative to buying packs of grip wires?

I'm knocking out leads by the dozen but am loathed to pay £5 for 100 6inch bits of wire, I'd rather buy a decent size coil of the stuff and cut to length myself.
I thought I'd sourced some but turns out it's no better than galvanised garden wire :(

Top wires (eyes) I don't have a problem sourcing decent wire for, it's the main gripper wires I'm trying to buy in bulk.
