I have caught them at the Isle of Whithorn loads fishing using bread without any luck I free lined a piece of makeral on a trout rod 6lb line and feed small pieces hooked a monster the pub emptied watching me play it round the harbour half a dozen times was going to climb down the ladder to land it 2 guy's were coming in with a dinghy he said I'll land it his mate said here's the bucket he said forget the bucket give me the fish box it's a monster the holiday makers were amazed when I let it go one to remember

Good to eat chris feed them bread every time you go down,get them taking it freely with confidence couple of weeks pop a hook in a bit of bread and bingo,
I got 6ft 6 fly rod you can use mate just pop a ordinary reel on it

Typical....i havnt seen them for a few days now, but the other lads have been feeding them, one was even nibbling at a tab end Deano said....

No, damn hard to catch,
I know fished for them all over the place, but they tatse very, very, nice almost as nice as mackerel
