Never been but planning a few trips this summer for the kelpies/wrasse

Anyone got info on the marks - had a look on google earth and can see a lot of good kelp holes but satalite only gives you so much info!

Cheers

Hi mate I fish it a lot in the summer get ya self at the back of the golf corse there is plenty of kelp but take a stiff rod and **** rigs with one 5o hook with a rottom bottom crab is a must and fish it on the big tides when the sea is flat as **** make ya baits the size of ya fist and leave them out a good while mate hope this helps

popular behind the south pier and you can fish the whole tide through, there in front of the caravan site up to the golf cause lots of marks to fish 3hrs down to low water and up find it best on a small tide as there is plenty of water big tides it emtys out and you have a lot of kelp in front of you,as said fresh crab best. davy.

North sunderland point is my favourite shot. As davy says though anywhere behind the south pier all the way along will throw out fish. Behind the north pier in front of the caravan site is worth a chuck as well. As said, big crab baits and rotten bottoms are the order of the day mate.
