Me and my mate headed down and set up at the marsden rock, not expecting to catch much.
Cut the story short cause im well ****ed, lee had a canny bite picked the rod up and slack liner, reeled lyk mad but missed it.
Then i brung gear back to rebait fell into a snag then bang, rod snaped

Absolutly gutted, my last & best rod, bye bye.

A blank for both of us and no fishing for me for a very long time now

thats terrible m8 ..just out of interest what rod did snap just to help folk aware of what to avoid buying when looking for gear or was it your own fault snapping the rod

Just seen yr question on the end there.
Might have been my fault, not sure, reeled in fast felt it tigten up so gave a hard tug then the dameage happened.
Never had problems with snags before tho :/

hardlines on smashing your rod nowt worse l snapped my butt section off pier wall a few weeks ago had to go up to century for a new one try ringing greys they might sort you out l had a nitra and the last 3in of the tip snapped they charged me £40 for a new tip worth a try good luck

Oh man sorry to hear that mate. I know how you feel having snapped a few myself. I have a Shimano 13ft multiplier rod you can have for nowt if you want it. It has some bust rings on it but Reelsports would fix that for you cheapley enough. I don't use it as it is a two piece and I prefer a three piece rod as they fit in the car easier.

Total agree with you julio, just got bk from work and checked the site, didnt expect nowt like this, thought a few laughs from every one

Been sick all day, cod comeing in and i nack me only rod on my 2nd sesion of the season

I have a rod i cut down for down uptiding but it was to soft. Still about ten ft if you want it Abu Espirit. Free to your self. Not the best but will see you over and all rings still on.

Thanx mate, but i dont think i could take a rod from sone one incase the same thing happened again, id feel like absolute shayt.
Some one does me a favour and, snap, not my rod.
Id feel crap even though it was given to me thats if any thing was to happen to it.
