MATCH FISHING SECTION???

I know a lot of competition anglers who look on here. I miss a lot of matches not knowing there on. In the past most opens were well advertised and now its a bit hush hush hence the dwindling numbers.
How about a match section just like the tournament casting section. All comp fixture dates and details could be displayed/updated.
Anyone organising a comp could post the details and attract more entries. It would also be courteous to post the results.
What does everyone think good idea or bad idea?

you dont look very far chukka m8, have a look at the Alan Charlton pages, and this has been pointed out on both shore and boat angling sections. Or on second thought you could do it, go to the opens and get the photos and the results and make sure the lists are kept up to date. Dosnt take up much time, just every sunday during the winter and your phone bill will rise a bit. Well volunteered. Only jesting m8 i do it any way. Details of opens are always published in the Sunday Sun and the Journal as well, personal invites are not sent out. Think thats yea telt. Grrrrh must have got out of bed the wrong side this morning

maybe Tony could put a sub section in Sea Angling Clubs: Match Results so that matches and comps could be advertised,at the end of the day if the organisers of these events want to advertise they can simple as that

CHUKKA i think its a great idea, thats why someone has already done it. You can put your report in on Friday night, ill even give you a head start.
