Minehead

Has anyone here fished out of Minehead. I\'m due to fish out of there next Monday and Tuesday. I\'ve no idea what we are likely to catch, or what tackle to use, so if you can help, it would be appreciated.

yup couple of he carling wales lads fish there at least once a yearbut thats in the summer months we normally go out with dave roberts on the alykat must say dave is a top guy and brilliant skipper and a;ways gets us the fish including ,pollock to 15lbs tope to 40lbs bull huss ,triggers,etc,etc,hope this helps,he writes a colum in boat angling monthly a gives a review of the other charter boats in the area

the best advice i could give is give the skipper a ring. He will tell you what species and bait to use for this time of year.
