Miserable tackle shop owners

ill back that up, i went to billy's to buy a new rod (greys platinum) and he recommended a cheaper one.

not many shops would do that.

Decided to start fishing again after a long absence so popped into Billy's for some ragworm........came out with a Kompressor ss!
No pushy sales tactics, just great advice from guys who know what they are talking about. I'll have to pop in soon for a couple of new reels.
I wonder how much discount I'll get for this post? Lol

you have two choices, you either dig it yourself or buy it from a tackle shop, if you buy it from a tackle shop ask to see the bait first, it's your statuary right if the shop says no don't buy it it's that simple [ would your lass buy a pound of mince meat from the butchers without seeing it first i don't think so]

Can't fault any of the local tackle shops.

Andy is great, Davey at the Trading post is a top lad, Terry is a nice bloke.

At the end of the day, these boys need to make a living and they are only human. Andy loves Marsden and is happy to share information, Davey is a gem and Terry has drawn me maps and all sorts in the past of Mark x and x etc.

Give the lads credit please, I can not go fishing without them

I have'nt been online since yesterday morning and have had this thread brought to my attention when I logged on today.

I think it is very unfare to criticise people that have no right to reply, especially as most of the complaints either have not been taken up with the dealer directly and some of the comments are no more than personal attacks.

I am sure that if any of you had comments like some of these then you would not be happy, I certainly know that I would not.

I am locking this thread now and would appreciate if there would be no further threads like this in future.
