Up with the larks this morning, me and the lads headed out from cullercoats for 5am hoping for a good 4 hours fishing, as one of the lads had to be back for graft So headed out to fish the rough ground, as still have no idea how to use wor plotter Anyway after an hour of a few drifts it paid off, ended up with 3 cod biggest being 4lb. We tried a couple more areas with no joy so headed to can area on way back in and ended up with 8 mackerel, seen quite a few pulling them in. Not a big catch but entertaining anyway. Nice to see Arthur again when we got in, always there for a helping hand and some great advice.

Good result Mark, and nice to see the mackerel have arrived. Your mate must be sick......if you pardon the pun, as an hour after you came in, it went as flat as a midges t!t Good post mate.

Well done on the catch Mark. I saw you go past the travellers beer garden last night, hence the reason no fishing this weekend for me! I have been dying with a Stella Artois hangover all day after the laddy's football presentation!
Off tomorrow for a crack at it though!
