MMMMM Best lunch ever

I don't think so steve, its next to a 'no win no fee' insurance place on the same side as the fire station about 1/4 mile up. Its not that big, just looks like a takeaway from the front but has a cosy little restaurant upstairs.

The cod massala was awesome and a had it with some grilled tandoori lamb chops and a lamb biryani. I know what you mean about the parking, i was lucky enough to get parked right outside but still had an eye on it. Defo worth a look up tho mate if you fancy something a bit different.

Well Jim ,as promised I've just been for a look ,it's called Pasha ,just opposite the swing bridge ,menu looks good ,they even do Adana as well as loads of the usual Turkish stuff ,last time I went past at night they had an offer ,three courses for £15 on the board outside ,not sure if this still applies, but has to be worth a look.

Kebaps mate lol. The trouble with that is, it can be anything from Kebab meat with salad wrapped in thin Pita bread mmmmmm to a rich stew, to Kofte which can be plain or spiced. There is just so much choice. I went for a month and apart from a couple of favourite meals, I had something different every meal (lunch and evening).

They don't make a lot of very spicy meals in Turkey but they do tend to have VERY hot chillies served with some meals. If you want something hot and spicy then just ask.

Jim.

Oh and since we're talking food ,I highly recommend Marco Polo on Dean Street , we called in after being in the town last Sunday night , sorry the Sunday before and the food was great and a nice place inside as well .

Mark the menu looks fantastic when you look through it properly mate , we'll be giving the evil eye a shot sometime soon mate ,even if we don't fit in lol.
