cheers Keith, left a recipe for you in the copm thread.
Well Pottsy, my grandson loves dinosaurs, after watching prehistoric park on the tele, am thinking along the lines of a prehistoric island with volcanoes etc, hope it works out, so he can use it with all his dinosaur figures

It's called Hobbycraft Alan, phone no. 0191 4827410. If you get really stuck there is a small arts and crafts shop in South Shields near me that sells modroc is small amounts (my daughter went through loads of the stuff for her GCSE arts exam piece)

Hi Alan, great idea, ive been discussing doing something like this with my 5 year old nephew, although i think he wants either summat to put army vehicles on or a train set.(il probably end up having more fun with it than him)

So really i just need to make a lumpy bumpy thing on a piece of mdf and then flock it with grass mix flock, il keep it simple and hopefully not make a mess of it,lol.

Bri.

the fun is in the making Bri, and yes the playing with them afterwards, the hard part is going to be keeping it out the way of the grandson until christmas, as he is here a lot, he is here now in fact.

prehistoric park almost done, plenty of fences, walls and gates for the lad to erect himself. Then only a bit of varnishing. Dinosaur land has undergone a bit of a change when you see it next

Dinosaur Island progress, a bit of a paint job and should be finished, as you can see there has been some major changes from the original
