Monday night Roker pier

Me and mad rob had some left over bait from Derek's fund raiser on Sunday so fancied a few hours tonight
Baits were lug. Blacks Oiled blacks. Muscle. Squid and makki. The makki seemed to work best
We fished from 6 till just past midnight I caught 6 whiting and mad rob got 5 whiting. I kept 6 for the table and the rest returned
A nice easy session with a light breeze shame no cod caught but a fella fishing the cleadon match caught a canny dogfish and if you are on Nesa thanks for the peeler crabs plus he hooked a fish and as he was reeling it in something snatched it off his hook ........... Jaws tope. Or seal

1 of the whiting was full of scabs and both eyes looked mouldy it was a right runt of a fish
Fish gutted and washed and tired now 1.20 in morning I'm at work in 5 1/2 hours

Canny night for for you I fished the cleadon club and blanked not much about last night mate . Not a lot at the weigh in either

Well done toonboy i fished the rathouse from 6 till 8 nowt so went to groin then near ferry landing on the tyne and still blanked seen a few lights on roker should have went up are well thats fishing or in my case watching lol
