To be honest Reg I think 7 will probably be enough, though 12 will guarantee success, especially if we're not scratching for fish. Let's hope we don't end up as the Famous 5 lol.

Thinking of fishing the Steel, Jim. If you have an anchor handy I could tow you, Bert and Keith out and bring you back 4 hours later, if you think it'll help haha.

Already spoken to Terry, he said that if I gave him all the air miles I'd accrued in the last 40 years he'd tell me where to stand at high tide so I could just keep walking down the beach from then. Sounded easy enough to me.

Hope the favourite bait is lugworm as that's all we'll have.
