They are based in Felling rigs are made on site, they are also building hardy boats down there, 16ft trailer boats very nice little boats, if you did order anything off the guys and there was a problem im sure they would sort it very quickly, very nice people and they are local.

ah reet lads,

thanks for the replies, i did know they were taking over and i have still not received my rigs, was nearly 50 quids worth, sent them a load of emaisl but heard nothing back

i don't want to bad mouth them but a simple reply would of been nice, i mean i ordered them on 18 june, and still nothing back, thought of would of got something by now

nah i havnt mate, i am thinking when i get back from graft i will just print the receipt off go to the shop myself, take the rigs off the shelf hand over the receipt to the cashier and walk out

That's bad Craic that mate regardless if they have been taken over its just basic Customer service to inform people who have made orders that it's delayed ... Communication goes along way !

Unless you can collect over the counter I personally would not order anything until they get established and prove themselves. Plenty of proven companys on mail order without hoying your money away.

Airborne, PM me a copy of your order mate and I will get it sorted out for you. I am not associated with the company but know the former and present owner and I am sure it will be put right, ;)

Feel for you A/B it took two weeks for Glasgow
Angling center to tell.me they diddn't have a sinker
Mould in stock. Phoned Gerrys. Morecambe came
in. two days. Hope D/L sorts it. Keep us posted as
it's good to know who are doing the best service

Gents

I just got a reply off Moonfleet in gateshead about my order and he said when he bought the company off some bloke, the bloke said he would clear all out standing orders, the bloke hasn't

So what moon fleet are doing now is sticking 2500 pounds worth of orders in a hat (must be a big hat) and the lucky people will get there orders sent to them

and just so every one knows when i put this post up i did not do it in a way to slag moon fleet off i stuck it up because i wanted to know what was happening with my order and because i never heard anything back off moon fleet i thought where better to check , but the north east fisherman

so in a nut shell if you are still waiting for your order Paul will be in touch soon to let you know if you are the lucky winner, oops i mean the lucky person to receive the order they have actually paid for it will be with you some time this year

thanks again for the replies lads

Hello chaps,
I am the new owner of moonfleet angling, we are based in Gateshead and for the moment just Internet based, I would have posted earlier but have been waiting for administrator to open my account.
To clear a few things up I bought a bit of a pig in a poke with over £2500 of orders not supplied by the last owner, that is currently in a civil case against him.
However I am planning on supplying all outstanding orders prior to july4th when I took over. To be fair I have put all outstanding paperwork in a "hat" and drawing them out until I reach an acceptable amount comparative to profits for that week, or until I recover funds from the previous owner. Customers had 45 days to make a claim against the previous owner via PayPal but for some reason left it longer thereby forfeiting their rights. As a gesture of goodwill I am supplying these orders so I hope that clears a few things up, the rigs have not changed in design or component parts, still made with the best of materials, kayak and shark rigs are soon to appear on the site too.
