Fancy trying the mull for pollock when the weather breaks, does anyone know whens best time to go? Been reading threads saying dusnt really fish til may but wondering if any good to fish it earlier as im dying to try the place out, wanting to use spinning/float tactics, any info would b great cheers

you,ll probably need to wait until the water temp rises before the pollock and wrasse move in, in numbers.

don't take the wife last year i was catching pollock to 4lb during a break the wife had a few casts and landed a 12lb fish. I have never heard the end of it.try using jelly's to spin with.

Thats when im thinking of having trip over there, give me couple month to get gear sorted hopefully have good session before the mackerel get there
