I was at the Walkway for the first time last night, and found it very pleasant in the conditions and well sheltered from the wind, it's blowing hard until around 6PM but should be fine there afterwards. the floor was icy and I nearly landed on my arse whilst casting a few times.

If you can cast 75 yds you should be fine, it was snaggy inside that.
