is it ok to turn up to spectate or even get a few pendulum tips from some of the experienced casters?

been pendulum swinging for a few months now but need some extra tuition??

If it's practice and advice you're after, come down the same field on a Thursday evening 5pm onwards. Unless it's lashing down non-stop, there will always be casters there willing and able to help...

Comp is a good laugh also and you'll pick up tips, but it's not the best time to practice first time.

Ian.

whats the difference in a ground to a unground rod?a picture would help me?and a grey TTR is this the colour before oxblood

Unground blanks weather and take knocks better than a high laquered blank .
purely cosmetic.

mylar (thin plastic film/tape) which is wrapped on the surface of the blank to bond the carbon blends during the curing process leaving excess resin (helicoiled lines)on the surface of the blank, this is later ground off to a smooth finsh prior varnishing.
