do you think it would be a good suggestion to make a freshwater annual competition on nesa which would be based on the north vs south nesa comp. people get get together who are interested in coarse fishing and fish a one off match on a local commercial and see who the better coarse fisherman are north or south

I havn't coarse fished for ages and hate fishing competitions ......... put me down for a peg if it gets off the ground :D

if we get about 15 people to take part we would probably be able to get a match on one of the lakes at eden meadows, that is if eden meadows would be okay for everyone to get to

Count me in!!

Sounds like a great idea mate, ad luv to have a bash at it, never been coarse fishing for 6years, so ad like to try again, n this wud b the way to do it.:D:yltype:

looks a canny fishery whats it like mate

its alright, quite a nice place, its well sheltered from the wind as its surrounded by trees and the fishing is okay aswell. there is two match lakes witch fish well with pole to this island and both the match lakes have quite a few carp in to about 10lb, also tench, barbel, roach and bream in, the bottom lake has carp in to 30lb and general coarse fish in. all in all its a nice fishery apart from the few months in the year when the fields are being harvested is its stuffed with rats
