Wet and windy was the order of the day with gusts of 14-18mph northerly
winds blasting down the court.rain, rain and more rain all day
Undetered ,Steve Anderson yet again set the pace in appauling conditions
to win the event with another 260yard cast. One to watch for the future was Jamie Blakeman with very respectable 242yard cast,after only a few weeks at swinging the lead. Dave Hammil set yet another club record with 226-0-7 yard cast using as 75gm lead. Ian Armstrong aka onslo cracked the 200 yard barrier ,well done .Glen Kilpatrick from Whitby joined the NESA team and found out how much fun surfcasting is .

hi ,still very good results for such poor conditions you all need medals for sticking out in such awful conditions it will only get better now. was stevie using the prototype zziplex floppy whoppy or was it the zzipplex turbo flex injection

had a good day out shame about the rain but the lads keep on casting and having the crack some cracked off more then they wanted
