We could all put a couple of quid in and let the biggest fish take it but we could donate half the money to rnli

Or you could just turn up a week come Saturday and fish the not so friendly NvS NESA comp as advertised.

Sounds like a good idea,

... but it would either have to be really informal, where you name a place and a time, everyone meets and fishes that mark (somewhere big like shields pier or marsden beach, or something like that) and you do the weigh in there and then, or, if it was a big comp spread over lots of marks, someone would have to spend a bit more time organising it.

Didn't realize there was one is there many lads of nesa fishing it ? just think it would be good to all meet up and all pull together coz most of the recent threads have had nothing but bitching at each other

I might do; I'm possibly in the lakes on Saturday 1st, not sure if I'll be back in time, but I'll try and sort something out.
