hi lads was down marsden area last night nets running north and south of boaties bay very close in

They shouldn't be out yet, salmon season has finished and they cant fish for the cod till 1st October.

back of the south pier op roker pier is littered with pots not that it bothered me on yak though but they seem to growing in numbers was only a few out last week this week loads maybe crab weekend

As long as it's in more than 7 metres of water (with headrope 4 metres below surface)at any state of the tide they're ok.
Then after 31st October can set them in any depth.

There was a boat trawling just off ssp last week, watch him put his nets into the water before he trawled off.
No doubt he would claim he was cleaning his nets.
