I would be careful lads using "cart" in bait sausages,cart being whizzed up hard back crab with other stuff to bulk it out,its actually illegall to use cart bait in the north east,northumberland and the south east of scotland,it carrys a hefty fine,thats why the original poster is right not to use it in his bangers,im in the catering trade and get stuff at trade prices from the cash and carry, im going to try whizzing up pilchard mussell prawn and placing them in a squid pouch and freezing them down,will whack it into the evil kelp this winter close in and see what happens on the spare rod

I can safely say there is NO cart in my bait bangers so there is no problem using them. There maybe some pixie dust in them but no cart.
