for that price you can afford to lose the odd one.

Also got these for less than £7 each from World Sea Fishing

Yokozuna Rosario 130's, full of BBs that move around, produce loads of noise, and they really fly.

Got these off Piker (offa NESA) made up to my spec (so nobody but me to blame). He makes fantastic freshwater lures so I asked him to give the bass lures a go. Can't wait to get them wet.

Are they Floating or Sinking? If you catch on them Mr Piker will have to put a few more shifts in!

They look great :)

If you want to put fish back alive,I'd do away with 2 or even 3 sets of trebles like lads, have you seen the damage 1 set can do to a small fish?
Might attend the next meet if it warms up a bit,not if its a pier though, the best lure fishing is always at sea level imho:)

Very interesting point that. Personally I've been more successful from a slightly elevated position. I.e rocks, piers, breakwaters etc

Elevation is just a vantage point for me, if the structure, habitat and food sources are available, you can catch just as many fish on lures down the side of a pier wall or jetty post and you can standing on a beach or shoreline. I suppose it's down to personal preference, mind you piers are normally my last choice, but this is mainly down to too many other anglers more than the location itself. (I like a bit space! ;-))

I've got some lure blanks ready to paint up. Got them last year but only did a couple of them. Obviously the shop bought lures colour schemes are well thought out but I wanted to be able to experiment. Airbrush will be coming out soon.

top one looks the business - bigger than most I've caught this year.

Be careful when you attach the trebles on the bottom one, they tend to split.
