Muck boots Spey or Tay sport or Grubs stalkers.
Pee on moon boots from a great height, you can walk unhindered, have toasty toes and not get minging sweaty feet. If you get sweaty or go over the top of them all you do is fold the top couple of inches over and the honeycomb fabric structure wicks the moisture out the top like a radiator.
Downside is they ain't cheap, around £60 a pair

Skeetex field boots are not moon boots mate they're a different boot skeetex boot altogether.
I have always been a fan of Muck Boots having used & abused a pair of Derwents for about 5 years. Replaced them like for like & after less than half the time, with no Digging done in ,the sole is almost smooth.

Another vote for Muckboots, best fishing boots I've ever had. Warm and comfortable even on a decent walk. Well worth the pennies IMHO

Most people I know go for moonboots for winter as that was all there was available at one time, which are fine if you're only walking 5 yards but still get sweaty, then they get cold because they're sweaty. The problem with field boots is the tops are suede so you can only get your tootsies wet.For winter muck boots see which models have a fleece lining. It used to be the Spey and Tay sport (same boot, different colours), though the range may be different now. They're very warm and comfy, too warm for summer use. The standard lined ones are still pretty warm though.

Muck boots are great, I think mine are the Tay ones. I wear them for fishing and walking the dog. The soles are worn now and the grip on wet grass and mud is poor.
I've just bought some Grub boots to replace my muck boots and although I've only worn them a handful of times they are spot on.......just like muck boots but with a proper Vibram sole.

I've got Muck Boots and Snowbee Rockhoppers. The Snowbees are way better for grip on the rocks but they are a thinner construction and not as tough or as warm as the Muck Boots which are better for general fishing. If you are fishing piers, beaches etc then Muckboots all the way but if it's slippery rocks then the Snowbees are safer. I wore out a pair of Muckboot Derwents in two years of heavy abuse (used year round) and have replaced them with the same ones (now called Chore but it's the same type). Excellent boots. Cool enough in summer due to the wicking but warm in winter.
