New Fishing rod advice

I am thinking of buying a new fishing rod this weekend from a shop and there is two that come into mind the appollo and the ron thompson axcellerator there both around the £100 price plus I am thinking of also buying the daiwa x35sha which is the newer slosh any help would be grately accepted.

Ron thompson is a ideal starting rod.. and always sell well when its time to upgrade

i have a second hand SLosh SHV - X 30 for sale if you wish to save a few pennys on a new un!

Both good rods mate and used properly you won't snap either

just ignore the usual rumours about Greys rods and make up your own mind - from what I hear from people who use them is that the Apollo mk3 is a great rod and I can vouch for the Ron Thompson Axcellerator as well...although it is a bit of beast of a rod IMO but you can't go wrong for the price

I have the Ron Thompson and can't fault it, nice and stiff, looks well made and for £100 brand new ya can't fall off. Good rod for fishing the rock edges

bought my m1 apollo 4 years ago second hand,got it rewhipped last year so expect at least another 4 year off it, brilliant rod. nowt wrong with ron thompson accellerator either

Thanks lads for the help and advice I went to frasers this morning and bought the ron thompson rod. I must say there advice and service was fantastic, the type of shop I like to go to.
