Hi guys just a quick introduction.. I have fished the north east coast for many years and always take a quick look on here to see whats been caught as I am mainly a shore fisherman .. Here is a something for your amusement if you find yourself bored ..
All the lads on this video are local shore fisherman, With the exception of my best friend Shep who until last year had never caught a fish..

i remember of having the pleasure of help landing jasons big fish off the pier when stevie bingham climbed down the ladders and just as he gilled the fish a canny size flatty swam out of it,s mouth i weighed his fish and it locked my scales out at 25lb when it was a officially weighed if i,m not mistaken it made 20lb 14 ozs i think the fish blew its stomach out as it had been handled that many times and my scales where spring balance 1,s which are not the most accurate so big jay is used to big fish from the shore and a float get in !!!!

That is unreal!!! I can't believe the size of them fish. How do people get them home? it must cost a fortune in excess baggage.I'd love to do a trip like that...think it's time to start saving.

Great video.
Just goes to show you don't need the new monster lures being produced for Norway.

These lads have proved it, looks as though the jiggers are slightly bigger than the average jigger used in UK waters.
There are no substitutes for Knowledge and Know How.

I worked on the rigs and was in STEVANGER a few times but was never able to fish, this video makes me realy spew looking at what I missed. I will be sorting a trip out this year for a party of 4 . great shots of catches and a cracking video to boot, the hallibut was a beauty. Thanks for a great post, CHEERS LADS.

Some of the lads in the video have been over there quite a few times and there catches are exceptional in the boats.
I was shown most of the raw footage of that video sometime ago and i have to say even without the editing they caught a lot of very big fish.
