NEW PERSONAL BEST!!!!!!!!

i landed myself a new record last night........it weighed in at 15 and a half stone

i was tying some clip down 2 hook rigs for the beach, last hook to go i tied the knot and didnt like the way the knot lookked but couldnt grab the tail with my fingers to tighten it up
so i grabbed the tail of the knot in my teeth and went to pull, the hook slipped out my fingers and embedded in my top lip

1030 - midnight in casualty with 6 nurses and a doctor laffing at me


ill not be doing that again

ps ill post a pic for a laff cos the first thing the missus did was run for the camera

what type of hook was it looks like a sakuma and by the looks of his upper lip he\'s done it afore.

Very sharp tho the points do tend to blunt quite quickly I would recomend he uses another one

tell you what thats the last time i do one of them tucked knot things....i always srtuggle to get the knot tight on the hook eye - hance using one hand to hold the hook one hand to pull the line and my teeth to pull the tail

been speaking to tim from frasers and he has shown me a better knot!
