New reel!

Hi dudes.

Well, after a big win for me at a bingo game last nite with me mother and her workmates a decided to get a reel that I've been wondering about for some time.

So, went to reelsport earlier and bought a brand spankin new Daiwa 7HT Mag (the blue one) and a must say am glad a did get it. Put some line on it earlier and been having a long gander at it, what a stunning piece of engineering.

A cannot wait to use it at me club match tomorra, am gonna send baits right fsr oot to the cods nest! :D

BINGO ! HEEEYARRR ... must been a canny win andy can imagine ya using ya ink dabber marking off the numbers ..... hope ya enjoy ya new reel m8 and it fetches ya plenty luck has the bingo ;)

You should have went on the drink to watch the toon game got sloshed ,and bought yourself a porn mag on the way home lol ;) are you fishing the sunderland comp tomorrow??

I it was some win, a keep laughing aboot it everytime a think about what happened... A walked into the place with £30 just to buy a few drinks, wasn't bothered about playing bingo. Me mam tempted me into buying a ticket say away a went playing, and hey presto, BINGO! :D Walked in with £30, and went home with £180...! :hallucine:

No am not fishing it buddy, but I am fishing my club comp and then our comp on Monday :) ;)
 
Roger .....nice reel ...and a good win on the bingo ,hey at the end of the season you might be lucky at the cleadon club SAC presentation.So bring ya dabber mate and have a cigar ...thats if browny hasen't smoked the lot ...lol..yep hope this wind stirs up the sea for us and get some nice fish .I cannot seem catch anything above 4lb 9 ,so fingers crossed tomorrow and monday .:)

Well done on your win,and you have picked a very good reel in the blue mag.
It will serve you well but you need to look after it as I'm sure you will.

As you know this reel is suited to 15/18lb running line and 60lb shock,but take care with the winching in with them big cod on the end because don't over stress the reel as they are ideally suited to clean/mixed beaches not winching up off piers.
Anyway enjoy and I wish you all the success with it.
I have two of these reels and I like them better than the higher grade model costing £300 plus.

cracking reels andy but id recomend fitting a pinion support to it. i knackerd 1 of mine pulling in a 2 and a half pounder with out the pinion support, now iv fitted them and have reel fish around the 4lb mark up shields pier wall :D

I agree with Gary on this one, a lad off here was going to make some but he never got back to me....there you go.

I still wouldn't use it for pier work mind,there's better suited reels for that work.

Ha Ha HA Paul, you've been talking to lucky Eddie, I only used that mark to help us win the comp. Check out the Handle, sometimes i dont even use sinkers. Most fish dont usually feed on stuff that has a geet big lead attatched to it. We have done ok together on the boat fishing, cant wait to put you through your paces on the Terra Firma.:D
Team up with you in a couple of weeks via the club comp. :p

nice one mate very nice reel much better when its sort of free lol i know the feeling got my new greys rod with my lovely tax rebate :):):):)
 
Excellent reels for clean / mixed ground, fit the pinion support soon as . Got mine from Rutherfords for coppers and easy to fit . Enjoy.
