Now now boys. but I hav got a cement mixer for sale. use it to make a concrete pad to build a shed on to store ya fishing gear in so theoretically could still sell it on here anyway I suppose?

we used to be able to sell anything on here but as allways the minority spoilt it and the powers that be chose to restrict it to fishing related gear the rules are there to protect us from scammers ect

Ah, i never knew that, thought it had always been fishing related items.

A few other forums I use have for sale sections, minimum post count required and they seem to work,

As Marco states a small PayPal admin fee ( non fishing related items) towards the site would be a great idea.

As for the pointless bickering grow up, if I was an admin and looking into this thread I'd be thinking why should I bother if you'd cant even have a mature constructive debate/chat about it.

As you say some sites allow non fishing items. Personally I can't get my head around going on an angling site looking for fishing gear and trawling through adverts for puppies, ferrets, budgies and all manner of weird items.

I use many sites that have non site related for sale sections, if you don't want to look in there don't click ... Simples.

If you view this site on the Tapatalk app using the latest posts option, you see everything that gets posted. I don't really wanna see an endless procession of sheds, furniture and cars for sale. It would be fairly irrelevant to nesa and spoil the experience for Tapatalk users. My two penneth.
