Very well done dazzer, that's a great result for you and a fantastic way to end the year. Always great to hit a new PB, but yours in such a way that you will probably never forget it lol. I love the fact that a complete stranger will go out of there way to help you, it is one of the things that I have always loved about this sport of ours. We all complain at times about some of the nobs out there that do there best to give our sport a bad name, nice to hear a good story this time and a very big well done to Critchaz. I hope someone can return that favour for you one day mate.

Me and Geordie fished at the end of the pier that night, and was I well chuffed with a 2 pounder (first keeper of the year). We saw the 9 pounder when we were leaving, and it was that big that it was hanging oot of his fishing bag. I might not have caught it, but it made my night seeing it.

Thanks for all the great comments etc lads.

Me, the wife & our 3 kids had one side of it for our tea last night, it was spot on.
We all enjoyed it (nice big flakes).
Still got the other side of it in the fridge under ice.

Just hope it does not take me another 30yr to get my next goal from the shore, a double figure fish
