Fished Snab point to start off with fishing the tide down had nothing but snags! So moved over to creswell cars fishing the south gut for the flood. Managed to pull out two nice cod for a bag weight of 3lb 11oz. Came in 17th overall, there was some very nice fish caught think heaviest was 7lb.. Over all a very good day. Spotted one of the lads wearing a NESA hoody spoke to him in weigh room but did not realise he had the hoody on lol..

know where abouts he was fishing? sounds tough going today

Dineswene again I believe mate - I was further down by the doctors house and never had a bite all day, lost a load of gear & had one reel trashed by a duck losing me half a spool of line. Then when packing up after taking my reel etc off, the tripod blew over & the rod went rolling down the rocks...not a good day:(

Gary :)

There were 95 prizes up for grabs. 80 prizes were claimed with weights, the remaining 15 were raffled off for the 15 people who stayed to the end. So
everybody who stayed back got a prize.

no was refused weigh in for being about 5 mins late not the comps fault if u have a fish that big ur not late lol and was 8lb

i think there would of been a bigger turn out had the tickets been for sale earlier the seation sluice one was perfect brilliantly ran but buying your tickets from one place then everyone having a mad dash is dangerous and old hat with the size of the boundries to if there that big they should have a longer weigh in allow the lads to get up to sea houses and then plenty of time to get back

Trouble with comps these day bounderies are to big and the weigh-in to short, had the same trouble at the amble open years ago next year they added an extra half hour then a few years later they extended the boundries and shortend the weigh-in time back to 1 hour, what was the logic behind that given the roads and parking its just asking for an accident to happen
