Newbiggin 20-10-13

Got to newbiggin at 3:30 with the intention of fishing over high water and back down to low with wallsendfisherman. Was set up and fishing just after 4 plenty sea running in the deep water and things looked promising , but it turned out a slow night. Only a couple of pulls in the first couple of hours. With about 3 hours to low water Stefan gets a good pull and leans into a nice fish around 2.5lb next cast and the same thing again but fish about 2lb this time. Then it was my turn to start with the pulls only I couldn't connect to them. 2 casts later and I'm into a fish bang on 35cm which was returned.
Decided on a change so had a wander around the rock and fished into a deep gulley and I missed a massive slack liner.
After this it all went quiet again down to low water when we decided to call it a night.
Baits were fresh blacks lug mussel fresh/frozen crab all tipped off with squid. Sorry still no pics as the camera fell out my phone

At least some fish lads well done. I was off the beach noticed couple lads red flotation suits on rocks was that you's? Nearly ventured up myself as not much on beach.

Hi mate I had the black and red IMAX suit and Stefan had a blue and yellow IMAX suit it may of been us mind
