Newbiggin fishing spots

Hi i have a few days off work and i am thinking of trying Newbiggin Tommorow. Where is a good spot to fish?

With the recent work areas around the bay are a bit suck it and see.
As to the rockier marks i would have a look at the fishing marks section on the left of this page as a start.

the beach in front of the new breakwater has been producing mackerel, plaice, other flayfish, and a few dogfish, certainly worth a try if it is calm. Could be a canny spot for the winter as the water is very deep.

Cheers for that Alan, might be worth keeping an eye on that mark for the winter mate.

Keep your eyes off lads. That's my new spot for teaching the kids. Don't want you all taking the fish and making me look a novice in front of the kids lol
