i fished the open today at cresent skeer, being faced with near perfect conditions we expected a few but it didn't happen, i saved the blank with a rockling. there was about 12 rods on the skeer but i only saw about 6 fish come in, mostly about 1 1/2lb.

We fished Cambois, about 20 people spread out from Whale rock area round two the third windmill. We blanked but there was a few fish caught.

me and me mates went to lynmouth had 1 cast me mates rod flew off the tripod just nearly went in the water was like a torpedo coming off the tripod, all 3 of us tried reeling in all snaged with weed built up all our lines. then headed to the prom just behind the bank house pub had nothing there i lost a weight basically every cast and give up early lol to much kelp there aswell. basically a waste of time think il be sticking to fishing round the south of the tyne from now on.
