going fishing up to newbiggin tomorra could anybody pm me with info on what baits r working well and any hotspots that r fishing well.as i only know church point which is where i am going any replies would be a great help.

Hi leroy i fished at lobster wells which is the next set of skeers south of church point. i fished there in the whitley bay open, i had a cod 2 1/2lb first cast i then had one on about 5 lb to my feet i could actually see the fish and it came of, the best bait to use in that area is crab mussel and lug all bound onto the hook in a ball.

bigman does it fish well there at any time or do u need a good wind blowing to spark it off?

try the west end area (needles eye-sandy bay)the rock marks along the bottom of the cliffs should throw codlings tomorrow since theres a decent nor/ly sea running. :thumbup:
