cracking fish matewell done,nothing wrong with sonics its the people that abuse them like on saterday night when there was strong winds do anglers check there line wrapping round tip before casting seen this happen 5 times with all makes of rods,another way of snapping tips is if they fish piers they get excited when they get a bite strike to hard and tip hits back wall next cast broken tip,falling down on rocks can also damage tips have had mine nearly 4years and can,t fault it ,won me 232 pounds sat ,and will have it out tonight looking for a big one . davy.

well done on the pb mate i have the sk4 14 foot and its the best rod ive ever used. stuff all the century worshipers and the zippy's sonik is great value for money tight lines mate

Well went up to sonik in Blyth with me snapped rod tip in hand can't fault them for their customer service they changed it straight away no questions asked and gave me one for free so happy days and that's a cracking fish mate well done but there was no line rapped around my eyes and I was not getting excited either so hope my tip was just a bad batch

managed a nice 10 pound 12oz last night from newton. my new personal best ......just for all the anglers that have put (cronic the sonik) a bad name i use a sonik and had no problem with it. not a creak no popped eyes and handles fish well, i use this rod everywhere i go with no problem at all hahaha

very nice fish m8 bet you are well pleased.

was it the sk3 or sk4 you were using.
