there might be a crack squad of suicide cod lurking in the same place waiting to hang themselves on an anglers hook in an effort to join him in cod martyrdom!!!!

Couple of quid says 'who bloody cares'???? If the guy doesn't want to post then fair enough, but really, what's the point in losing sleep over it. When I had a double earlier in the year at Horden every Tom, Dick and Harry fished there for at least a fortnight after. Were there any more caught???..........NO. People should just find their own marks and stop fretting about where John Doe caught his double.;)

Nice fish by the way mate and well done.

Right on the button Sean, that is why a lot of good fish never get reported. I hear of quite a few but am regularly asked please do not post them on the forum as I fish that mark most of the time.

No there won't be 10000 people turning up to fish the mark but I bet a pound to a penny that you won't get a parking space anywhere near where that was caught for a couple of weeks as there is not much room on that mark. It doesn't matter if you are just a once every couple of weeks fisherman that doesn't really care where they fish or put in any hard work to find out how marks fish but it does to the people that have done lots of work or who live very close and don't have transport.

If people want to post where a fish is caught fare enough, if they don't then live with it but don't have a go at them and take the P*ss hoping that they will give in and tell or try to make them look small.

Jim.

well said Jim.

I could'nt give a s*** where it was caught its nice to see a fish like that.

Well said willywetegg.

I can now disclose this location where this fish was caught, it does begin with 'S'..................

Wait for it...............

It's the Sea!!! :D

cracking fish, looks like its been inshore a fair while too, only problem is that colour cod tend to make not good eating due to iodene in the kelp and worm problems in the stomach...

congrats on the fish and the lad for putting it up here for us to see..well done

happy fishing all

Jim.

One of two reasons why I no longer put up catch reports Jim. I have no problem introducing people to a mark they haven't fished before, if they are keen to learn. But I can't bide people who want to stand on the shoulders of others and do it the easy way. If you're that lazy surely it makes sense to sell your gear and buy your fish from the supermarket lol:):)

if e doesnt want to put his name on its up to him not everyone is a gloryseeker, they like the spots hushed i dont blame them so do i ,the mark is called crinkly bottom i fish it all the time ,and the anglers called tommy teapot ,now stop being so nosy lol:D;)
