Norgie Circle hooks

Guys,

Has anyone used these "circle" hooks for shore fishing. I've used them for Tuna and Sharks, but never at home.
If so, where can you buy them here?

Hope this makes some sort of sense

Eddie

Hi Eddie you can get circle hooks from Sakuma Fishing Hooks - Sakuma - Superb fishing products and Veals. I've never used the full on circle hooks, been told they are a bugger to bait up with worm baits but good for fish baits. I've used the Veals semi-circles a lot, they are good hooks for soft mouthed fish and will usually get them hooked in the corner of the jaw. Stopped using them for Bass when I lost a couple of good fish on the retrieve, I'd guess because the fish again were only hooked in the jaw so were able to shake loose.

Cheers,

They are meant to "self hook" fish in the corner of the jaws. Originally designed for the long liners.
Excellent hooks for the boat.

Just found a ton on eBay. Will buy a packet from a local shop and give them a try next time I go missing, ah sorry fishing. Itching to use my new set up.

Home for another week, so hopefully this wind will die down and get casting.

Cheers Eddie

pain to bait up, even using a baiting needle, problems removing if you do happen to deep hook something, cant say i have improved my catch rate over the years using them
