things are looking promising to get n.e.s.a running again,its been a few years and i think we deserve it.just a few bits of red tape and hopefully we,ll be up and running. The venue we,re trying to use is kirkleatham show field,about 15mins east of the A19/A66 middlesborough,central to the north east. with luck we hope to have our first event within 2-3 weeks on a sunday,and thereafter once a month .

john i,ve got a metal 6" rule which is calibrated by young mr donkin, so its accurate mate. u can pick it up at mine . its on the way to kirkleatham.
are aging ex-uksf carsters welcome. think i would need that 6" meself.

last time i was there , blow me MI 16 engine up racing thainy across the field, he had a scruffy little polo and beat me, how EMBARASSING, to cap it engine seized 1 mile up road at greystone r/about. adie ****ed his self laughing but cost me 2 n a half grand for new engine. aaahhh those were the days, NOT!!!!!!

Just to keep you fellas updated; all paperwork nessesary is sorted and waiting for confirmation.
I,ll announce a date shortly for the first event,hopefully early june.

Anyone interested needs to adhere to a few simple rules prior attending,

Main running line

0.35mm line- 175/200gm
0.31mm line- 150gm
0.28mm line- 125gm
0.25mm line- 100/75/50gm

all running lines to be high visibility eg; red/green/yellow etc

leaders

0.75mm-150/175/200gm
0.65mm-125/100/75/50gm

leaders to be high visibility; eg red /yellow etc

links;

oval splits ,or similar

leads;

3/4,5,6,7 oz leads etc are not manditory weights and can,t be used

50gm,75gm 100gm,125gm,150gm,175gm,200gm ,dca leads will be available to buy at the event

Prices;

Membership £10 until may 08,includes first event fee
£5 for members for each event thereafter
£8 for daycasters
juniors under 18 free

event dates;

june/july/aug/sep/oct,weather permitting nov
winter break
march/april/may 08
approximate dates will be published later

Results and pics will be forwarded to Total Sea Fishing mag for publication,

achieved sew on distance badges can be purchased at each event

Looks like I'm going to have to get my rod out and dust it down and make sure my reels aren't siezed, its been a couple of years since I've swung the lead, everyone stand clear it could go anywhere
