North vs South

Just noticed that Andysc is fishing for the south (cockneys:p ) this year.

I've just read a post where he described casting the end of his rod off! Hopefully this is a reflection of the standard we face this year!

Should be a walk over, walk in the park, white wash etc.;)

mmm i wouldn't say too much a lot of northern lads put weight on after there defeat last year they had too eat too much humble pie lol

Foss,

I think you might be right - havent had too mch support on this one so far!

I dont mind a bit of humble pie - we (northerners) wont be eating it anyway! lol

Just thought I'd throw some bait out and see if I got any bites - practicing for the 17th.

Had a couple so far...

Cheers

Steve

You must be confident!!!

I see your already looking for some good recipes, you better get your pinny on and start baking. It will give you plenty practice when you have to eat it.

Had to put the pinny in the wash - covered in fish remains.... gets used pretty regular (ish)...

I hope you South lads arent relying on the shoal of herring at whitley moving down south for the comp. I havent seen the official rues but I'm sure you arent allowed to use your nets again this year! ;)

Steve :)

Steve if your patter is as good as your fishing skills your going to be a hard act to follow.

I look forward to meeting you at the weigh in, you should be easy to spot with your pinny on.

Andysc,

That might be the safer and least expensive option if I have to risk losing half of my rod!!!

The only reason I am so confident is I used the old tried and tested method to find out how good we - the North are as a team this year....

I printed off our team list and read it out to Billy, Bob and Bubbles - my goldfish.

As soon as I started reading the Northj names out Billy (3 1/2 yr old fan tail) scarpered behind the filter, Bob (2 yr old black moor) tried to escape from the tank in desperation and Bubbles (6yr old shubumpkin) took the "play dead" approach and floated on the surface for a few moments.

Thankfully the fish have calmed down now.

They never flinched when I mentioned the south team! lol ;)

PS. Andysc, have you forgotten about the time you tied the mussels on to your snood without removing them from their shells? or the time you took me lug digging at that fresh water loch in scotland and we found none?

lol

steve Im with ya mate!!! we can beat em we have nowt to lose as they didn't last year everyone into the river scratchin or hide behind terry and hope he does enough for everyone lol :D

they must have been the guts from the fish she caught.

this is my first time fishing this match and i recon the north side are scared allready they seem to be the ones making the most noise as for us south lads we are just getting on with it sless are you going to say something to the north lads to gee them up i think they need it.the running man rings a bell or should i say the running men :D :D :D
