North vs South

I think Graham is quietly confident that the south side once again will not let him down.

Hope theres a sea running, cos they will have no chance.

Steve, does your lass go fishing then?

they must have been the guts from the fish she caught.

Nah fortunately, she's asked to come a couple of times but to be honest she bores the living daylights oot of me so I tell her its too dangerous.

Plus shes got a face like an old bulldog chewin a swarm of wasps so I try desperately to keep her indoors. Recently the neighbours have complained aboot the sight of her hingin the weshin oot in her olive green night gown!

Cheers

Steve

oh aye ,that,ll gaan no farther

im so confident this year
even more than i was last year
and it was an away match
as terry says
he will be hard to find
but you will hear him playing the lAST POST AT THE WEIGH IN
DEDICATED TO THE NORTH SIDE
SO GET PRACTICING YOUR'S

HAHAHA

BRING IT ON

Bring it on indeed Graham and we in the north team will be as willing to die by the rod as the next peasant angler but.......................................... I've become a grandad (again) tonight so my, hopefully, caustic and debilitating remarks (in reply to your wind ups) may become limited compared to the oooohs and aaahs of the immediate future. Worry not we're up for the night (providing of course we can claim tax relief for the tunnel crossing)
Speak to you when I've finished wetting the little 'uns head.

congratulations mate hope mother and bairn are well how heavy was he/she enjoy wetting the bairns head.but dont use a hangover as an excuse for getting beat again by the south team lol :D :D :p

Congratulations Captain Stores, get his/her name down on the North list! should be a natural.....

Sless, (south captain) It's taken you a wee while to get involved in the build up - have you been out shopping for the South teams humble pie ingredients? lol

looking forward to meeting everyone !

Steve

ive not stopped my planning since last year
very quiet man
hehehe

my troops know the score
there will only be one winner

the south side

Congrats to the parents and the grandparents.........hope all are doing fine :D :D

Got my 1st taste of "granda-hood" to come in a few months (I'm too young to be a granda :o !! - well.....inside me head, anyway...lol) :red:

Just to clear up any doubts raised from the 1st post on this topic..........

Andy fished for the SOUTH team last year - so there's no switching of sides ging on.

If you want confirmation of this, take a look at last years' team lists here:

http://www.nesa.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=11794

:) :)

NOTE:
Those who took part in last years' comp and want to take part in this years' comp MUST represent the same team they were part of last year.
The only way in which a participant can "swap" sides is if they have moved residence to the other (which ever that may be) side of the river (Tyne).

Thanks to all for your kind words, just off to see the future Codling Croucher. That's two sets of kit I've got to buy but at least there'll be someone to use the scarboroughs after I've gone. Graham - will pm you with my address re the tunnel money. Can you send it in 20p pieces as I save them.
