Well Dustybin's On the buses crew got out on our first trip of the season, as previous 3 trips had been cancelled due to our british summer weather. We left port at 7am hoping for some good fish. We got to our first wreck 1 small cod about 3lb that was it, we went on some hard ground and all we were getting was whitys. Then 10.30am Jim says lets move to better ground. So we had some lovely slab of Ham & Egg pie for us to enjoy while we were travelling. It did'nt last long with the 9 anglers we had on board. Jim got us to our destination, He said right lads down you go and as soon as we all hit the bottom all into fish, this kept going for 2 hours where there was fish continously coming aboard. All good size cod from 3lb to 8.5lb. We had 50 cod in them 2 hours, then it went quiet once we lost the tide. We had Duncan (Lingking) on board with us he had the only Ling of the day plus he had a few nice cod to go with it. Bet he had a headache with all the banter that was flowing all of the trip. We kept the crewman busy netting the fish, sorting the tangles out what more can you ask for, from your skipper & crew. Will be aboard again soon. Thanks a lot for great day Jim, Steve, Norman,

:Dcertainly a day of two halves:)both noisey:D:D.

the decision to make a long move to another spot paid off big style,at one point all 9 anglers into fish at once:exclam: mayhem :)

i must have gone for a walk some where when ham/egg pie was around :(

in fairness i had beed offered fruit which im not keen on chocolate which i cant eat,but no ham n egg which i love.

all in all jim snatched victory from the jaws of defeat,so well done to him and his crew

Thanks for the report Chris glad everyone enjoyed it I was still laughing when I got home.

Great days fishing Chris, but couldn't shake headache all the way to Lincolnshire, had some good laughs though, that made it worth it.
