northumbrian open shore contest

Sorry for asking this, must be missing the info somewhere cos no one else has asked,lol.......

do all the tackle shops have tickets ie Mcdermotts ?
how long for the weigh in?
Which one is the Bankhouse again ?

sorry been a while since ive fished an open. Is a tenner the going rate for entry these days ?

this ones for charlie?you can register at frazers?oh what do the rest of you think of the prize table be honest what do you like to see all fishing gear?all electrical(got to keep the mississ happy)or a bit of both.
or does it not matter?does the prize money matter?would it attract more or put more off?how do some opens turn out 500+ and some mearly scrapping 200?what are your views and what do you think should be on offer money and sponsor permitting?
 
Hi brian you seem very interested in the Bedlington Station Northumbrian Open just wondering if you are a member of the club if not i am sure they would like to here from you to thank you for all the good things you have said about their open as i am sure you are the type of member they are looking for cheers mate
 
not in the club but thinking about joining one of them.who are u are you in the club.whats it like.are you having another open next year.will it be better.can i join as a committee member or will i have to be a member first.never been in a club before but like to join one in the very near future.how much to join how many members.are you any different from other clubs apart from the open.
 
Hi Brian i am a member of the club and it is a good club to be in i dont think their are any places on the committee at the moment i think it is the same as most clubs you would have to join and wait for place to come along would like to know where you get your info from ie last years entry numbers TYNE TEES TV coming this year and the number of opens on the same day last year
 
as i said before have some good contacts.lets just say i no you have had more ticket sales than last year,and you still have the lads who turn up on the day.i also think that you are in a senior position in the club?am i right?think your club is up and coming but needs some other input also(new blood if you like)well done to you and the other members fo the club for what you have acheived and only hope that you are prepared to work hard in retaing the clubs ability in opens and attracting new members.still thinking of which club to join so many of them?has no one ever thought of amailgamating some of the clubs would this not make sence more anglers better opens i.e more money and prizes etc etc etc.just a thought?

In my opinion clubs get to be a bit like families, everyone knows each other, has a bit crack and a bit friendly competition.amalgamating clubs is what they really dont need. it wouldnt make any difference to the opens, it would either then be one huge open or one club doing several opens. im not a member of this club by the way.

Fished the open today though and they did have some cracking prizes, lots of rods and reels etc had a great day. only caught one small codling but it won me a much needed new tackle box :D

You were right about one thing I am chairman of the club I think you should make sure your information is right before you tell anyone last year there was 2 other opens on the same day, we only had 325 people fish it and there has never been any talk of the TV cameras been at the event in future please check your facts first. I really hope the members on this site don’t think that anyone from Bedlington Station s S A C has tried to miss lead them . I WILL START A NEW TOPIC WITH THE CORRECT RESULTS SOON.
 
Don\'t think I have ever seen anyone make such a pratt of themselves in such a short time.
I really hope that you CODFATHER don\'t think that any one from this site was trying to miss lead people either mate.
