Right lads, just waiting for the phone call and email with all the prices, flights and transfer times for a max of 4 people (1 being me) then will send the info out to the couple who have emailed me and the first 3 to reply will get the spot.

Please note that money must be paid in full within 6 weeks of confirming you will be interested. I knwo this is short notice but i dont wish to be stung with a £700+ bill.

Alot of work has gone into finding the best location (you know who you are) that offers a better than mine boat hire, close to the sea so you can shore fish if not knackered from boat fishing, clean warm b&b and flights.

Have a host of info saved just need the final details then will pass it on for peoples yes or no..sorry only 3 spots due to the boat and B&B capacity.

Price just a rough guide will be between £650 to £850 plus the food and fuel you use for the boat the 4 days for example between 4 people.

If you hire a boat in the UK it would be about £120-£140 for 4 days so yer its not bad

Aye not bad at all we are using norweigen airlines for our flight we can add an extra 20kilo of luggage for 40 quid and a rod tube holding upto 15kilo of gear for 12 quid just gonna pack them full of food so its saves spending a fortune over there

Ours is 23kilo main bag and then your carry on and 4 rods in a tube for £40 extra each way or £10 per person each way...rather use my own gear than hire and a tenner is nothing really.

Yer after my leads, pirks rigs etc whatever is left i will be making the kilos up in food.....2x "supermarkets" not sure how super mind within 10mins walk of the digg's thou wont be cheap.

The way i look at it, if i was going to Greece in peak season i would pay £400ish then if i was to hire a boat for 4 days it would be about £60 per day (did it one day this year in Greece) and its a trip in a lfetime...i am not expecting a 70lb cod but talking to people who have been to this spot from other sites etc i know 20s and 30s caught daily with 40+ fish landed every week. Also lump, goast fish, redfish, large haddock and other species we get but on a much smaller scale caught every day.

You only live once and maybe out of work mid 2012 so now is the time to do it :)

Richie best of luck with planned trip. If i was not going in March i would be up for this one but my next trip will probs be 2013.

ps i have seen Chas,s boat when it motors out of the harbour at Hartlepool and by god has it got some grunt-big cab to sit in. Wonder how long it would take him to get there and how many miles is it. You would probably leave from Northern Scotland--Shetland Islands for stop off before trip over North/Norwegian Sea.

It,ll be like Dunkirk again--but from Hartlepool to Norway this time. Wish him all the best smashing fella.
Wonder how long it will take. ??.

Right lads got most of the info..all the main things and as expected if you wish to fish the best Cod location in the world in peak time with an inboard cabin boat hire for the week its not going to be cheap, about £200 more than i was expecting.(£950ish)

Please message me if you are still interested and i will email you all the info i have and a couple of other bits n bob's, only 2 weeks in this location left in the peak months for 2012

The trip i looked at cost the lads about a grand each. They had use of an Arvoir boat(cruiser) in North Norway and they got some really big fish----------but by god was it worth it.

It was on a post somewhere---i,ll try and find it.

We are hiring an Arvor for the 7 nights we there 24hr sun so can make the most of it, weather not a problem as you can fish out at sea or go around the headland and fish sheltered waters

It is a logistical nightmere mind trying to sort flight times with transfers and ferrys and that lol hope its worth it..

Prob not from me Graham :)

My targets are a torsk of any size as never got one
a redfish of any size as never got one
a howsyourbat of any size as never got one
Haddock over 3lb
Cod 30lb or over
Coalie 10lb or over
Wolfish over 6lb for a new PB
a ghost fish of any size as never got one

Also to still have feeling in my arms when i get back and not to of missed one of the fligths or the ferry home :)
