Norway

he might want to cut out the middle man and organise hes own trip at a budget price without any guides
Must agree, guides, food fuel & a few beers ect put a whopping big lump on top of prices being chucked about( Norway can be a very expensive place ) by the time you come back your trip may well have cost a lot more than you first thought it would. you don't need agents or guides, just do some homework, deal direct (groups do receive big discounts in most circumstances ) and the cost reduces considerably.

Wont be using guides, gps map, fish finder, charts i have sorted and marked up, bit of info from the locals and off we go, most food will be taken prob purchase a few things over there 500nok worth (about £50)and i factored in £70 per person for fuel, just hoping for the right weather and for the fish to be on the feed as with every type of fishing...you can have the ebst of everything but weather and fish cnat be controlled.

7 months to go so think i will move onto looking at a new boat rod to take my mind of it :)

just a few more bits and pieces to get now, but i'm getting there

I hope not mick or one night B&B is going to cost us £350 each....i got 9.26 exchange rate for £1 at Barclays bank last couple of weeks back.

Yer you seem about there Chris, i have held back buying anything else from last time we spoke or i will never get antyhing else in my bag's :) less than 5 months to go lol

Yer we going about as far north as you can get In norway but that dont always mean it will fish like mad, i be happy with 7 boating days of good weather and steady fishing...the big one's will be a bonus and a Howsyourbat would be nice.
