I went to the Steve Harper charity game through the week.

£10 adult ticket, £5 for the kids, took the wife, two kids and me mother and they loved it.

Was great to see over 50,000 turn up to see some old stars, and obviously raise money for some good causes. Was a nice friendly atmosphere.

Stars such as Maldini and Baresi at their age still showing skill and ability, amazing.

It just shows how much big business / TV money etc have spoiled the game nowadays, and how much corporates take from us as fans when it comes to normal league games.

The same seats for our next home match would cost over £160, and there wont be half as much "entertainment" on show, then cost in things like a hot dog £3.80:eek: and a pint £4.10, even a tea is £2.20 :(

Anyway, its ridiculous :p
 
I went with the family to young Cameron's 1st game aged 5 he loved it in the gallogate end great atmosphere with di-canio getting booed every touch but to be honest he took it all in good fun in my eyes he was the best outfield player on the pitch all for good causes and I glad to be apart of that night while family loved it to be honest Cameron was more interested in the tiny bat that was flying around next to us

expensive do this sid james park by the sounds of it , think ill stick to illegal streams on tinternet marra . ftm .. ;)
 
i it was a good night great atmosphere we were in the leazes end row w hard to see the players after a few pints had some little prick a few seats along throw a plastic bottle into crowd below total nob head think he got kicked out apart from him doing that a enjoyed me evening but we then we mist the last metro to south shields had to get a taxi from pelaw . ps them bloody yagerbombs make you forget the time lol

Yes its a forum, not a playground, so if you've now't to add just keep the childish simpleton comments to yourself
