same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago bob, gull snatched a ting when pulling it up, flying around with it then let it go only for another gull to grab it, managed to pull it out of it's beak and get it in, funny thing was it swam off ok despite just getting a good gouging
Anyway, well done for getting a few out mate.
