Shall be doing a spot of night fishing this friday off Roker or Shields pier so hopefuly will have caught the cracken or something similar, upon which point a report will be filed presently and correctly.
Don't know wht the score with parking is at night on either pier though.

dont know how youve replied to this post ?.anyway,s/s pier shouldent be a problem,drive though fare ground,turn left,approx 200yds youlle see club house,should be ok, parking there on a night time.roker pier.theses a easy c/park next to the cafe.good luck,on your fishing session.

Reg been thinking the same myself had a p*ss poor winter seem to have been working every time a decent sea on.except one night in january when had 5. In an hour & 1/2. for 19lb from cambois Pb bag.
Anyway got the scratcing gear out this weekend and had a few hours on the tyne started well with a sized codling and a flattie first 2 casts then nothing for a couple of hours. Then the whiting turned up 2 sized and 10 pin and another tommy.
Must give frasers a mention cracking lug this weekend not ordered just turned up last minute.

I a learnt this way had to drive down pier to traffic lights main road to get out one night glad cops werent about haha
